The Team at Destiny:
Destiny Worldwide Entertainment, Inc. was established to develop and produce films in-house, utilizing all the tools refined over the years. After working for other companies, selling scripts I wanted to direct, and missing opportunities, I teamed up with friends to find a direction we could enjoy working on together. No film is created by a single person. It requires a team and a talented crew. Working with people you like and who share your vision fosters a positive environment. Team Destiny embodies that kind of organization.
Our mission
To offer a variety of storylines and avoid sticking to just one genre, our first film, THE MAN FROM CLOVER GROVE, was an unexpectedly successful low-budget hit. It had a world premiere in Houston, Texas, before opening in 350 theaters. The family film, starring well-known TV personalities, has been distributed worldwide. It’s been in release for over 40 years and continues to be a streaming success. After producing three action/thrillers, our second film, THE ADVENTURES OF RAGTIME, another family film featuring two well-known actors and a talented supporting cast, achieved success globally. Our third film, QUIGLEY, the most successful among our titles, proved a point and helped shape our mission. A family-focused storyline has enduring appeal. Building on previous success, we have developed a slate of storylines with similar potential.
Our vision
Our goal is to create films that feature globally recognized storylines aimed at drawing viewers for multiple screenings and encouraging them to buy a copy for ongoing viewing. We notice that audiences are increasingly tired of repetitive stories, which is gradually leading to a drop in theater attendance. Many people say they’ve already seen what they just watched. With numerous streaming options available, audiences have become very selective about what they choose to watch or pay for. We understand that many theater-goers want to escape for two hours and experience a fantasy adventure they’ll discuss for days. Some even return for a second or third viewing to catch details they missed the first time. Others binge-watch TV series they find too short or end too suddenly. They want more. These are the kinds of films we aim to produce.
